Over the years a wide variety of birds has visited our garden. Sadly, we no longer see some of the farmland birds like the Yellow Hammer and Skylark as some of the land around us has been developed for housing

I have supported BBOWT (Beds, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust) for over 30 years. The organisation carries out sterling work to preserve the natural habitat in reserves they own in the three counties.

Norfolk is a county of out-standing beauty with numerous excellent wildlife reserves providing diverse habitats for a wide variety of flora and fauna.This area never fails to deliver something of interest - whatever time of year you visit.

Set in the Irish Sea between Northern Ireland and Cumbria on the west UK mainland is a little bit of self governing heaven. The coastline is varied, and includes small harbours, beautiful sandy bays, rocky beaches and rugged cliffs.

Linford Lakes Nature Reserve

Otters, Kingfishers, Marsh Harrier, Barn Owls and Bittern have been observed here within the last twelve months. There is also a healthy and diverse population of vegetation, insects and butterflies
