Fort De Soto Park

Fort de Soto is the largest park within Pinellas County and is an important feeding 'stop off' point for migratory birds both in Spring and Autumn. The park spans five islands or 'keys' and has a wide range of habitat including, mangroves, pine woods, wetlands, palm hammocks and beaches. The ecology of the park supports and protects a vast variety of wildlife. An incredible 328 species of birds has been recorded here over the past 60 years.
